Newsy > Digicam #2 - a Panasonic FZ20, 5MP, 12X Stabilized Optical Zoom, f2.8 wide to f2.8 tele.

Update: Sept 2006 - getting tired of the noise in the images from this camera. So much progress in digicames since buying this one.

Acquired December 16, 2004.
Newsy > Digicam #1 - This was my first digicam, a Canon G1 with accessory Lensmate adapter that allows me to attach various lens such as UV, Macro, Polarizer & more. 3.1MP, 3x Optical Zoom. It was still working in the summer of 2006 but far too many hot & dead pixels to allow capturing imags to be enjoyable. I have not used it since the purchase of my second camera.

Acquired December 23, 2000.

Reverse Image of a shutter cap over lense image. Orange arrows point to pixels that show up in many images and Blue arrows are pixels that sometimes show up when the camera gets really warm such as after extended operation or in the ambient heat of the Arizona desert. --- 5825_CRW_01b ---
